ORIENTEERING
The day had finally came for 16 lucky St James students to go
orienteering.I was really excited when we finally arrived
at the Esplanade.Soph, Izzy and I were called up to the
starting line, given a map and were off.I was very relieved
to find Madi, who went two minutes before me, waiting by the trees.
Not before long we had found the first buzzer. 'Hi !!!'
someone called out. 'Who ???....' I began to ask, Izzy
came running and I knew it was her.
Madi and I paired up with Izzy and eventually, we found
Soph and she joined us as well . We found all of the
buzzers, got lost a few times and eventually completed the
orienteering course.
This was my first experience at Orienteering and I
had a fanastic time and I would definately do it again.

WALA : Easter being the greatest feast in the liturgal year.

Easter is the greatest feast in the Church's Liturgical year because it celebrates new life, Jesus dying on the cross and rising again.
The Easter candle is lit at every celebration of the Eucharist during the 50 days of the Easter season from Easter Sunday until Pentcost Sunday.
The five grains of incense on the Easter Candle represent the wounds that Jesus suffered.
The Alpha and Omega symbols are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. They remind people that the Risen Jesus is the beginning and the end of all time and that all praise belongs to him forever.
